Competition Concept: Labeling & Identity

Labels surround us every day — they help identify objects, but sometimes they “stick” to people too, turning into stereotypes.

This competition invites students to rethink labels creatively: by designing them for objects or using art to explore how people are labeled. It’s a space to express ideas about how we see and judge one another.

The artworks go beyond the classroom — becoming public messages that encourage us to reconsider what labels really mean.

Participants & Laureates

he competition brings together students from Lithuania and abroad, aged 11–18, representing art schools and creative institutions. Working individually, they explore the theme of labeling through illustration, graphic design, and mixed media, showing how a single idea can take many different visual forms.

Each year, a selected group of laureates is awarded for originality, artistic expression, and the strength of their message. Their works are transformed into printed labels and exhibited publicly, turning personal ideas into shared visual stories that reach a wider audience.

2026 Product Collaboration

This year, students’ designs will be brought to life on a real product — a limited-edition kombucha by Rudy’s Kombucha, featuring a mango & passion fruit flavor. The drink will be released as a genuine, commercially produced product and sold for a limited time only. All proceeds from sales will be donated to a children’s charity fund, turning creativity into meaningful support.
